WSP provides services for the structural design of new flexible and rigid pavement structures, rehabilitation of existing highways. WSP routinely conducts pavement condition surveys that identify the different distresses which are recommended for treatment after field investigation. WSP is MTO approved for High Complexity in Pavement Design under Medium Complexity in Pavement Engineering as well as Medium Complexity in Foundation Engineering. WSP is registered in MTO’s RAQS for all Specialties under Pavement Engineering.

Our services include:

  • Pavement Evaluation – Flexible and Rigid
  • Soils and Pavement Investigations – Routine and Complex
  • Pavement Design – Low, Medium and High Complexity

Concrete Technology

The Concrete Technology division at WSP is MTO RAQS (Ministry of Transportation Registry, Appraisal and Qualification System) approved under Bridge Engineering- Condition Surveys. Our team has conducted numerous detailed bridge deck condition surveys and OSIM inspections for the Ministry of Transportation (MTO), Toronto Transit Commission (TTC), Greater Toronto Airport Authority (GTAA), Municipalities, and other Road Agencies.

Division field staff possess Fall Protection Training, TTC track level training, CN Safety for Canadian Contractors, Book 7 for traffic control and Confined Space Training.
