New York University could be considered a mini-city, providing state of the art sports facilities, theatres, and laboratories as well as residential and classroom facilities. It was designed and built within 4 years – a huge achievement for a project of this scale.

The Emirate of Abu Dhabi is considering the implementation of a metro network that would provide high-capacity and high quality rapid transport services between major activity centres in the metropolitan region. The Abu Dhabi Metro would present a variety of advantages, including: improved transportation mobility and connectivity; faster, more reliable public transport services; and the increased capacity of the total transportation systems.

The Zayed National Museum has a very striking design. With a gross internal area of 58,698m2, the museum is contained within an elevated mound that incorporates a lobby, gallery spaces constructed as suspended ‘pods’, a pavilion for special exhibitions and a falconry centre with live displays.
