In support of this commitment, WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff operates an anonymous Whistleblowing Service through an independent third party to facilitate reporting of potential misconduct in the workplace, including:
• Unethical/illegal behaviour
• Workplace safety hazards
In line with legislation in many parts of the world, WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff’s Code of Conduct and related policies as well as the Whistleblowing Service ensure that concerns can be raised regarding inappropriate conduct, that the reporting party will not be subjected to victimisation, harassment or discriminatory treatment when raising concerns in good faith and that proper investigation will ensue. WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff recognises that reporting such behaviour in good faith and in accordance with WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff’s Code of Conduct and related policies is an important aspect of each employee’s role within the company.
The Whistleblowing Service provides many benefits, including the opportunity for management to reinforce relevant policies and make changes to current procedures where applicable.
Each report to the Whistleblowing Service is investigated thoroughly and appropriate action is taken when necessary. Whistleblowing matters are reported to the Board of directors.
