Grootgeluk Coal Mine – Limpopo, South Africa

The Railway Safety Regulator (RSR) issues an annual renewable permit to all railway operators authorising them to conduct railway operations.



WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff was appointed to facilitate compliance with the National Railway Safety Regulator Act for Grootegeluk Coal Mine.


Our client needed to ensure quarterly track inspections were conducted on the Grootegeluk siding to ensure necessary safety on the railway network.
