WSP tops ENR International Design Firm ranking for second consecutive year

WSP, a global leading professional services firms, has retained first position in the annual Engineering News-Record (ENR) Top 225 International Design Firms ranking report for the second consecutive year.


This report ranks the 225 largest world design firms, both publicly and privately owned, based on design-specific export revenue generated from projects outside each firm’s respective home country – as well as the Top 150 Global Design Firms, based on total design-specific revenue regardless of where the projects were located.

WSP retained top honours in the 2017 ranking, with eighty-one percent of total revenue generated from international design projects – based on design activities performed outside of the firm’s home country of Canada. WSP also took fifth place in the Top 150 Global Design Firms ranking, based on total revenue.

  • #2 in Europe, and
  • #4 in Asia/Australia
  • *The firm was not ranked in Canada as this is where its head office is located
