Working at WSP has been a great learning process.

Being in the engineering and land development department, it is critical to know how to think strategically, communicate well and work as a part of a team, even under pressure. The team of managers at WSP has taken the time to recognize that every individual works differently and are able to use their individual skills to create a more dynamic environment. All this leads to a better team performance and that is what makes working at WSP a great experience.

Working for an international company opens up the window of opportunity and markets.

It also allows me to broaden my horizons in terms of adaptability to various cultures around the world and work with different types of people.

Zig Ziglar once said: “You don’t have to be great to start but you have to start to become great”. That’s a quote I live by.

What aspects do I most enjoy about my current job?

I appreciate the ability to work independently, and most importantly, to be able to work with people that care about the company and the projects.

Out of WSP’s five corporate values, ‘Passionate’ is the one I identify with the most.

A company has all sorts of workers, each with their own attitude towards their job and their work. If you could do anything for 8 hours a day for the rest of your life, and money was not a factor, what would you do? Regardless of the job titles, job profiles and the weekly paystubs, bringing passion to your work can lay a solid foundation for success of an individual and eventually for the company as well. I believe that when we are passionate about something, we have more energy, we work much harder. We get more creative, search more diligently for solutions when difficult problems arise and inspire others who work alongside us. Each of these elements helps to increase our chances of success. Passion is something that never goes unnoticed.
