In the Community

WSP is proud to support local non-profit organizations, foundations and personal initiatives in order to invest in the communities where our employees live, work and play. Whether it is by giving our time and energy, raising financial donations or sharing our expertise, we believe that our involvement makes a difference. Health, family, and environment - the list of our interests is important to our people and their communities!

All success stories trace back to the celebration of community. From increased potential for individual success to exceeding expectations: together, reaching farther is easier. WSP is proud to support initiatives of employees who strive to better their communities at home and abroad.

On February 7, members of the Ottawa and Burlington offices came together for the Accora Village Bed Race on Dow’s Lake in downtown Ottawa. They swept the podium, taking 1st, 2nd and 3rd place for most money raised, and 1st for best decorated bed. Halsall Ottawa has raised $6,700 all of which will go to the Kiwanis Club of Ottawa youth programs in the city.

WSP believes that the right community support is integral to any success stories. We value passion, dedication and hard work needed to achieve extraordinary objectives. As such, WSP is proud to sponsor Team Koe and the Brier men’s curling championship this year.

WSP’s quarter-century old tradition of playing golf for a good cause remains an annual highlight. This year’s WSP Great Toronto Area (GTA) golf tournament raised $1,600 for the non-profit Water for People.
