Main Sheldon Creek and N1 Diversion Channel Design

 
  • The Main Sheldon Creek is a meandering channel, with riffle / pool sequences and step / pool sequences at its upstream and downstream limits, developed to permit fish passage for its entire length.
  • The N1 Diversion Channel diverts flows from a tributary of Sheldon Creek to its main branch.
  • WSP provided natural channel design, fluvial geomorphology, surveying, aquatic and terrestrial ecological assessments, hydraulic modeling, and flood plain mapping.
  • WSP also designed two pedestrian bridges and two road crossings, as well as a riparian planting scheme.
