Port Mann Highway 1 Onshore Design-Build

$2.4 billion upgrade to transportation infrastructure in Metro Vancouver.

 
  • Design-build project is a five-year, $2.4 billion upgrade to transportation infrastructure in Metro Vancouver; it includes construction of a replacement 10-lane, cable-stayed toll bridge across the Fraser River.
  •  WSP, in joint venture, is responsible for the onshore design of the project; the role includes transportation design and management, including construction review and certification.
  • Project required complete redesign of the complex Cape Horn Interchange at the west end of the Port Mann Bridge to simplify the interchange and improve traffic safety and efficiency.
