Our client’s challenge

College Quarter—the land bordering College Drive, Preston Avenue, 14th Street and Cumberland Avenue—was envisioned as a multi-use development containing a mixture of student residences, academic facilities, offices, retail spaces, restaurants, hotels and entertainment venues.

Our approach

The infrastructure review took a broad approach with the goal of recommending service level targets on a block-by-block basis rather than a rigorous detailed design of all future services. The intent of this study was to provide the University of Saskatchewan with information needed to proceed with a detailed development strategy.  


The report became an integral part of the neighbourhood concept plan that was submitted to the City of Saskatoon in 2011.
