With approximately 7,900 employees, based in all Canadian provinces, our experts have a lot to talk (and write) about!

Andrew grew up on a beef farm near Greenwood, Nova Scotia. He became interested in the Geomatics profession while in high school, when a local land surveyor and family friend, subdivided his parent’s lot. Having always had an interest in computers, working outdoors and mathematics, Geomatics seemed like a good fit. Andrew attended the College of Geographic Sciences in the fall of 1999 and continued to University of New Brunswick (UNB) in the fall of 2001. After graduating UNB in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science in Geodesy and Geomatics Engineering, Andrew was hired by WSP as a land surveyor in training. After articling for 4 years he received his Nova Scotia Land Surveyor designation. And in 2010, he received his P.Eng designation. Andrew now lives in Cole Harbour and enjoys many outdoor activities such as camping, fishing, hunting and woodlot management.
