Power

We all live in a world where our resources are crucial to our future life and existence on this planet. Power, energy and water are among the most important and critical resources to consider and the way we use and manage them today will influence how we live tomorrow. Climate change, population growth, increasing energy demand and environmental challenges are all important aspects to consider when planning a sustainable future. A future that can provide a secure and reliable form of power to sustain our economies at the same time as protecting our resources and environment.

Power Generation

Our capabilities in power include a wide range of power generation, from conventional coal to nuclear and newer technologies such as cogeneration and renewable energy sources.

We support our clients on complex power generation projects and also helping governments to plan power generation strategies for the future. Our engineers are constantly pursuing cleaner, safer ways to meet the world’s growing demand for electricity.

Power Transmission and Distribution

The demand for electricity around the world is growing and sustainable, well planned, designed and managed power transmission and distribution networks are critical to meet this demand.

We have been continuously involved in all aspects of power transmission, ranging from feasibility studies and system design to substation and overhead line construction and commissioning. We have worked on every major system element, including overhead lines, substations, transformers, HVDC converters, underground and submarine cables, protection and control systems, and supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems or distribution management systems (DMS).

Our role is to ensure that we provide our clients with the efficient and sustainable networks supporting their long term goals.
