WSP is an exciting place to work. Together with our clients we are developing the sustainable cities of the future and innovative solutions for buildings and infrastructure.

Career Paths

Our people are the key to our success. Our consultants progress through their participation in project work and business activities. We offer a number of different career paths. You can specialise in your field of technology or become a project manager with responsibility for large and complex projects. You might be interested in a management career with responsibility for a unit, department or business area. Or you might move towards sales and marketing, developing client relationships and bringing in new business.

WSP University

Through the WSP University, we deliver a wide range of programs and courses for career development. These include internal and external courses, videos, textbooks and e-learning. Of course the best way to learn is to benefit from the experience of colleagues on project work.

Training program for promising employees

The European Task Force has 10-12 members aged from 20 to 35, from the Nordic countries, Germany and Romania. Each year the group is tasked by the management team to investigate and make recommendations on an issue of strategic importance to the business. For two years, Task Force members learn about managing staff, working in different cultures, managing projects, bidding and developing new business and financial management. Each participant has the support of a mentor.

Talent Management

Talent management is handled globally to identify employees with leadership potential and support their future development.

Employees attend a two-day personal development courses to identify their strengths and development needs. This leads to the formulation of their individual career and development plan.
