2018 Graduate Development Programme

Apply today. Imagine tomorrow. Create for the future.

At WSP we’re designing places where our friends, families and neighbours can thrive. We’re nurturing sustainable societies, connecting communities, and seizing opportunities. Can you help us to plan something unbelievable or design the unthinkable? What if you can?

Recruitment for our 2018 Graduate Programme is now closed. Our 2019 Graduate Programme will open for applications on Friday 14 September.

For more information about WSP, our Graduate Development Programme and the professional training schemes available, take a look at our Graduate Brochure Pocket Guide.

The application process

  1. Check we have a suitable role for you – find out what degrees we accept in our FAQs
  2. Register online – you’ll start off by telling us a bit about yourself and supplying your CV and optional cover letter. You’ll also fill out a short form so you can tell us why you’re applying and what career interests you have.
  3. Submit your application
  4. Video interview – we’ll get to know you better and find out about your degree subject, experience to date and career aspirations.
  5. Graduate recruitment day – this will be your chance to get a feel of WSP, chat to people from the business and discuss your preferred office location and discipline team. Our assessment centres run between late November and March.
  6. Local interview (if required) – if you don’t get the chance to speak to the team you’d be working with at the assessment centre, then a further interview will be organised to allow you to meet face to face.

It’s important to us that you feel passionate and excited about the role you do, so we’ll always do what we can to match you to a role that’s best for you and ensure that you meet the team that you would be working with.

We encourage our graduates to gain experience through further education and professional qualifications. We are a member of several accredited schemes including ICE, IStructE, IET, CIBSE, CIHT, TPS, IMechE, CIWEM and RICS. We also support an number of other routes to professional qualifications, providing the same support in terms of training and mentoring.”
