Nick Amrhein

Director, Developing Markets

Nick Amrhein has more than 15 years of financial management and infrastructure experience, specializing in transportation project development and transaction support. He develops funding and financial plans and manages related analysis for highway, tollway and transit projects, including project feasibility studies for both private investment consortiums and public agencies.

Nick has managed dozens of socioeconomic forecasting engagements and other revenue analyses, and he has participated in rating agency and investor presentations to support the underwriting of debt. He has led public-private partnerships (P3) financial analyses and procurements for toll revenue-based concessions and availability payment based concessions.

In addition, Nick leads the toll revenue and operations and maintenance (O&M) forecasting group within WSP USA’s virtual tolling organization and manages the Regional Coordination group, which cultivates new business opportunities and helps manage expert resources. He is the director of the developing markets business line, which focuses on applications of technology to improve transportation systems, including managed lanes/motorways, intelligent transportation systems, and connected and automated vehicles.

Nick holds a master’s in business administration from the Rochester Institute of Technology and a bachelor’s degree from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania.
