California State University - Wildcat Activity Center

The 180,000 sf facility houses a variety of recreational services, including a 15,000 sf weight and fitness area, multipurpose training studios, an indoor track, four gymnasiums, a multi-activity court (MAC), a full size indoor rock climbing wall, men’s and women’s locker room, a juice bar, meeting and lounge spaces, and administrative offices.

The three-story facility also includes landscape/ site developments directly around the building, and an outdoor pool for recreational activities such as water aerobics. The project was designed and built using the Construction Manager at Risk (CMR) delivery method.  Also of note, the facility has been designed to meet LEED® Silver certification requirements; possible steps to achieve Gold status are under consideration.
