Jazz at Lincoln Center

The new 176,000 square foot Jazz at Lincoln Center is contained within the AOL Time Warner Columbus Circle Complex. Named the Frederick P. Rose Hall, the facility is designed to provide flexible space for performances, broadcasts, and education.


The facility contains:

  • The Rose Theater (consisting of 1,200 seats)
  • The Allen Room (consisting of 500 seats)
  • Dizzy's Club Coca-Cola (a 140-seat jazz club)
  • The Irene Diamond Education Center (a 3,500 sf facility)

WSP USA supervised and organized the commissioning services for all the MEP systems that support the facility noted above.

Systems commissioned included:

  • Life safety / fire alarm

  • Redundant A/C systems for critical areas

  • Air handling systems

  • Steam and condensate

  • Building management system

  • Chilled water distribution

  • Water filtration
