Riverside Community Hospital

The Riverside Community Hospital scope includes a new nine-story, 458-bed patient tower, support services, and OSHPD-mandated seismic compliant services. This process involved a detailed analysis of state requirements and operational efficiencies to determine the optimum scope of the project.

The design features a new entry atrium that centralizes circulation between the existing noncompliant structures which have been redeployed for outpatient and administrative services and the new patient tower. The integration of outpatient services and inpatient services creates new business opportunities for the facility and creates a new business model enhancing financial performance. Included in the project are replacement of the lab, radiology, pharmacy, dietary, and central plant. Emergency services are expanded to meet demand and growth opportunities.
