Part 1: Engaging Suppliers to Reduce Scope 3 Emissions
Part 2: Using LCA to Reduce GHG Emissions by Design

Engaging suppliers and conducting Life Cycle Assessments (LCAs) are two key tools for reducing GHG emissions and other environmental impacts from the full life cycle of products. This session will explain supply chain, spend, the difference between procurement and purchasing as well as provide an overview of how LCAs are used to drive product innovation towards sustainability in the pre- and post-product launch phases. Product-designers, supply chain managers and those involved sustainability management and marketing of products and services will benefit from this session’s insights into LCA and supply chain.

Getting to Carbon Neutral: Aggressive Goals and How to Achieve Them
Leading organizations recognize that ambitious carbon reduction goals are necessary to drive transformational change and help keep warming below 2°C. Yet achieving these goals requires a diverse portfolio of low-carbon strategies and solutions. Panelists share their reduction strategies - from RECs and offsets, to energy efficiency, to internal carbon pricing - as well as lessons learned on securing stakeholder buy in and communicating progress.
