Transportation Key Hire: Adam Karagosian, PWS

Mr. Adam H. Karagosian, PWS, has joined WSP as Natural Resources Group Manager. Mr. Karagosian has more than 18 years of experience in environmental consulting and is a subject matter expert in Clean Water Act Section 404/401 permitting and related services. He has managed the preparation of numerous environmental documents in accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and State Environmental Policy Acts (SEPA) and has performed natural resources investigations throughout the eastern seaboard.


At WSP, Mr. Karagosian will manage deliverables and quality for projects including natural resources investigations, protected species studies, wetland delineations, Section 404/401 and related permitting, NEPA documents and ecological restoration.

Mr. Karagosian has extensive experience with federal, state, and local agencies in North Carolina and South Carolina, and will work with staff and clients out of the firm's Mooresville and Cary, NC and Rock Hill, SC offices.

Mr. Karagosian received his Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Studies from the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry in Syracuse, NY and his Associate in Applied Science degree from the State University of New York College of Technology at Farmingdale, NY. He has his Professional Wetland Scientist (PWS) certification. He is past chair of the Environmental Science and Planning Subcommittee and a member of the Environmental Committee of the American Council of Engineering Companies of N.C. He also serves on the Watershed Stewardship Funding Advisory Committee of the Laird Norton Family Foundation in Seattle, WA.
