WSP Appoints Tord Dennis as Practice Leader – Product and Supply Chain

Tord Dennis, an expert in supply chain management, product development and compliance, and business collaboration, has joined WSP’s Environmental team as Practice Leader – Product & Supply Chain, announces Jan Chizzonite, executive vice president and USA director of environmental at WSP, the global engineering, design and environmental consultancy.


Mr. Dennis, who is based in Santa Monica, CA, will lead WSP’s team of product and supply chain experts, who focus on creating cost-effective strategies to manage business risk related to product compliance issues, including RoHS, REACH, WEEE, conflict minerals, and other global regulations. With staff in Manila, Hong Kong, and the U.S., the team is focused on helping clients develop solutions to optimize business processes and leverage software to efficiently manage complex supply chain data.

Mr. Dennis brings over twenty years of technical and marketing experience for multinational entities in North America, with projects related to product development, supply chain management, and business collaboration; governance, risk management and compliance; and process analysis, re-engineering, improvement and documentation. He also holds a Green Belt – Six Sigma DMAIC certification, and is Black Belt trained.

Previously, Mr. Dennis worked as a product manager at Siemens PLM Software, where he built and managed strategy for embedding environmental compliance into the PLM process and integrated new solutions into the software portfolio. He managed multinational partner relationships and aligned external product development with internal portfolio planning processes and delivery. In addition, he served as the subject matter expert in analyst briefings for such key business initiatives as collaborative product development, environmental compliance, and sustainable design.

Mr. Dennis holds an MBA from the Georgia Institute of Technology, an M.S. in mechanical engineering from that same institution, and a B.S. in mechanical engineering from West Virginia University.
