LEXINGTON, KY — Wendy Harper has rejoined the Lexington office of Parsons Brinckerhoff as a supervising engineer.


In her new position, Ms. Harper supervises engineering teams working on bridge design and rehabilitation projects in the Lexington area and is responsible for analysis, design, and associated work for all types of highway structures.

Ms. Harper’s structural engineering experience includes design of conventional steel and concrete bridges, box culverts and retaining walls. She previously served as a bridge design engineer for GRW Engineers. From January 2011 to February 2014, she was a senior structural engineer in Parsons Brinckerhoff’s Lexington office.

Ms. Harper received an M.S. in civil engineering from the University of Kentucky and a B.S. in civil engineering from the West Virginia University Institute of Technology. Her professional affiliations include the American Society of Civil Engineers and Tau Beta Pi, for which she serves as an engineering futures facilitator for sessions at engineering colleges to help students gain skills outside of the normal engineering curriculum.
