WSP hires Scott Robbins in Boston

Scott Robbins, PE has been named a Senior Vice President in the Boston office of WSP.

 

In his new position, Mr. Robbins will manage design efforts for academic and science/technology projects throughout New England and nationwide.  He has over 24 years of engineering, construction and project management experience, specializing in project management and mechanical engineering for colleges and universities, laboratories and cleanrooms as well modeling systems for true informed design.

“WSP has a wealth of expertise in the science and technology and academic sectors in the Boston area and nationally, with projects going back 30+ years,” says David Cooper, president of WSP’s US Buildings practice and the region’s Chief Commercial Officer. “Scott’s experience adds additional depth to our portfolio and enhances the value we can deliver to our clients so we’re very excited to have him join our family.”

Mr. Robbins received an MBA from Syracuse University and a BS in mechanical engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. A licensed Professional Engineer in six states, he is also a Certified Energy Manager and LEED AP BD+C. He is a member of the Association of Energy Engineers and ASHRAE.
