Cindy Potter and James Gomez Join our Sacramento Office

James Gomez will manage the civil engineering department in the Sacramento office of WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff as a supervising civil engineer. In addition, Cindy Potter, who will also be based in the firm’s Sacramento office, will serve as a senior project manager for highway and bridge projects in Northern California and the Pacific Northwest.

 

SACRAMENTO, CA — James Gomez will manage the civil engineering department in the Sacramento office of WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff as a supervising civil engineer. In addition, Cindy Potter, who will also be based in the firm’s Sacramento office, will serve as a senior project manager for highway and bridge projects in Northern California and the Pacific Northwest.

WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff provides design and construction services for highway, bridge, transportation planning and public works projects throughout California.

Mr. Gomez has nearly 30 years of civil engineering experience, managing major projects involving design and construction support for a wide variety of public works facilities, including bridge replacements, roadway improvements, traffic signal modifications, new traffic signals, water system improvements, sanitary sewer and storm drain improvements, and storm water treatment facilities. Prior to joining WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff, he was a project manager with a transportation engineering firm in Rancho Cordova.

Mr. Gomez received a B.S. in civil engineering from the University of California at Davis. His professional affiliations include membership in the American Society of Civil Engineers. 

Ms. Potter has 35 years of experience with the design and construction of highway and bridge projects. She has successfully managed all aspects of project delivery, including planning and corridor studies, preliminary and final design, and construction. Prior to joining WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff she was an area manager/project manager with CH2M HILL in Reno, Nevada.

Ms. Potter received a B.S. degree in civil engineering from the University of California at Davis. She is a member of the American Public Works Association.
