Emily Freund Rejoins WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff as VP and Regional Director of Design-Build

Emily Freund has been appointed a vice president in the Los Angeles office of WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff, a global engineering and professional services organization.

 

LOS ANGELES, CA — Emily Freund has been appointed a vice president in the Los Angeles office of WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff, a global engineering and professional services organization.

In her new position, Ms. Freund will serve as regional director of design-build, focusing on developing new opportunities for alternative delivery approaches throughout the firm’s West region, and providing oversight of schedule, budget, quality and profitability of design-build projects.

Ms. Freund has 20 years of experience in marketing, business development and contractor team organization in support of strategic planning and marketing activities for major transportation projects. She previously served as business development manager with a California construction company, responsible for alternative delivery in key transportation markets. From 2009 to mid-2015, she was alternative delivery marketing manager for the West region and Los Angeles marketing manager at WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff.

Ms. Freund received an M.P.A in public administration/policy and a B.S. in political science from California State University Northridge. She is a member of the Associated General Contractors of California and is the incoming board secretary for the Los Angeles chapter of Women’s Transportation Seminar.
