Eric Christensen Elevated to General Manager of Sustainability Services Practice

Eric Christensen will manage the delivery of client enterprise sustainability services as the new general manager for the Sustainability and Energy (S&E) practice of the Environment sector of WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff, a global engineering and professional services firm.

 

BOULDER, CO — Eric Christensen will manage the delivery of client enterprise sustainability services as the new general manager for the Sustainability and Energy (S&E) practice of the Environment sector of WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff, a global engineering and professional services firm.

The S&E practice provides a range of enterprise-wide services, including sustainability strategy, greenhouse gas (GHG) and resource management, sustainable energy, and climate preparedness for corporate, industrial, and energy clients. 

Mr. Christensen has over 20 years of experience providing clients with strategic advisory services related to managing GHG emissions, solid waste generation, and water consumption. His areas of expertise include sustainability, GHG management, energy efficiency, renewable energy, and sustainable building design. He has supported over 50 organizations in developing GHG inventories, setting reduction goals, designing and implementing GHG management plans, and publicly reporting their efforts through Carbon Disclosure Project responses and sustainability reports.   

Mr. Christensen was a member of the Technical Working Group for the GHG Protocol Scope 2 Guidance development.  He has been involved in the development of EPA’s GHG inventory guidance documents and is also part of the Technical Advisory Group for WRI’s Science Based Targets initiative.

Mr. Christensen received an M.S. degree in Building Systems Engineering from the University of Colorado, Boulder and a B.S. in Environmental Technology from Stanford University.
