James Long to Manage Infrastructure Projects in Washington, D.C.

James Long will manage infrastructure design and construction projects as a senior supervising civil engineer in the Washington, D.C. office of WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff, a global engineering and professional services organization.

 

WASHINGTON, DC — James Long will manage infrastructure design and construction projects as a senior supervising civil engineer in the Washington, D.C. office of WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff, a global engineering and professional services organization.

Mr. Long has more than 35 years of transportation and infrastructure experience on a wide range of complex projects in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. He is experienced in all aspects of project delivery from concept development, design, permitting and entitlements, construction, and turnover/commissioning. Prior to joining WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff, he was a principal with an engineering firm directing complex infrastructure and transportation projects in the Washington, D.C. area.

A licensed professional engineer in the District of Columbia, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia and New York, Mr. Long received an M.S. in public works engineering from George Washington University and an M.S. in engineering management from the Air Force Institute of Technology. He also earned a B.S. in environmental and natural resource engineering from the State University of New York and a B.S. in general engineering from Syracuse University. He is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers.
