John McCuskey to Lead Mobility Operations in Denver

John D. McCuskey has been appointed a principal consultant for mobility operations at WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff, a global engineering and professional services organization. He will be based in the firm’s Denver office.

 

DENVER, COLO. — John D. McCuskey has been appointed a principal consultant for mobility operations at WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff, a global engineering and professional services organization. He will be based in the firm’s Denver office.

In his new position, Mr. McCuskey will provide support for the U.S. toll and transportation market, leading business development efforts and multidisciplinary consulting engagements. He will provide the firm’s clients with guidance on user-fee transportation projects, including toll facility feasibility, toll operations, all-electronic tolling, transportation management, managed lanes and financial analysis and planning.

Before joining WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff, Mr. McCuskey was executive director of the E-470 Public Highway Authority in Colorado, where he also served as deputy executive director and director of finance. Prior to his work with E-470, he was a consultant with toll-related projects both nationally and internationally. In a career spanning more than 30 years, he has also worked in investment banking, where he focused on public finance.

Mr. McCuskey earned a master of public administration degree from the University of Colorado at Denver and a bachelor’s degree in geography from Southern Illinois University. He is a former member of the International Bridge Tunnel and Turnpike Association (IBTTA) board of directors and is currently on the IBTTA Foundation board of directors. In 2016, he was recognized by IBTTA as an honorary member, one of the association’s highest awards.
