Todd Musterait Named to Board of Western New York Sustainable Business Roundtable

Todd Musterait, director of client development in the Buffalo, New York environmental office of WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff, has been elected to the board of directors of the Western New York Sustainable Business Roundtable (WNYSBR).

 

Todd Musterait, director of client development in the Buffalo, New York environmental office of WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff, has been elected to the board of directors of the Western New York Sustainable Business Roundtable (WNYSBR).

The WNYSBR provides a forum for local businesses that have pledged to reduce costs and waste by establishing a formal business sustainability plan as well as for organizations looking to improve their existing programs. It offers training, tours, networking and other tools that enable companies to work toward a vision of creating an economically as well as environmentally resilient Buffalo-Niagara region. 

“The WNY SBR is a platform for any business, large or small, to participate in sharing knowledge, best practices and resources between members,” Mr. Musterait commented. “It represents a true grass roots effort, with a vision towards creating an economically growing and environmentally resilient community. It is an honor to be elected as a member of the board by my local peers.”

A licensed professional engineer, Mr. Musterait is certified as an ISI Envision (Institute for Sustainable Infrastructure) sustainability professional and is a LEED certified professional. As a member of the WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff environment sector leadership team, he leads market sector strategies and growing service lines across the environmental business.  Mr. Musterait has over 23 years of experience providing strategic planning of environmental programs as a professional consulting services and industry leader. Previously he served as the Director of Energy and Water Management for Rich Products Corporation, responsible for development and oversight of a corporate energy and water management program at facilities across the globe. In this role he led a global team driving improvements in environmental compliance, sustainability, energy, water and wastewater practices. He has led Corporate Energy Star Partnerships, and contributed to the USEPA Energy Star Guide for Bakeries.  

In addition to WNYSBR, Mr. Musterait is active in the American Bakers Association, American Frozen Foods Institute, American Society of Civil Engineers, National Society of Professional Engineers, Water Environment Federation and Association of Energy Engineers.
