WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff Experts to Present at ITS World Congress in Melbourne

Connected and automated vehicle technology experts from WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff will give presentations at the 23rd Annual ITS World Congress, October 10-14 in Melbourne, Australia.

 

MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA – U.S. connected and automated vehicle technology experts from WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff will give presentations at the 23rd Annual ITS World Congress, October 10-14 in Melbourne, Australia.

The largest gathering of ITS (intelligent transportation systems) professionals and manufacturers of its kind, the ITS World Congress offers technical presentations through a host of sessions and workshops.

WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff’s U.S. perspective will be showcased at the following sessions:

  • Scott Shogan, connected/automated vehicle market leader, will present Developing a Connected Vehicle Deployment Plan: Real-World Strategies on Wednesday, Oct. 12, 4:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.

  • David Ungemah, national managed lanes director, will moderate Harnessing the Economic, Societal and Environmental Benefits of Road User Charging on Thursday, Oct. 13, 2:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.

  • Lauren Isaac, manager of sustainable transportation, will give two presentations on Friday, Oct. 14. Ms. Isaac will discuss How Local Governments Can Plan for Driverless Vehicles from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and will present Automated Vehicles: Kangaroo Caught in the Headlights from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.

  • Darren Henderson, senior planning manager, is the organizer and moderator of Managed Motorways: Adapting the Melbourne Concept for U.S. Applications, on Friday, Oct. 14, 8:30 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. Mr. Ungemah will be a speaker at this session.
