WASHINGTON, D.C. – A sponsor of Infrastructure Week 2016, WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff will participate in panel discussions in Washington, D.C. related to transportation and infrastructure development as part of nationwide activities taking place May 16 to 23.

Infrastructure Week is a national program of events, education and advocacy designed to elevate infrastructure as a critical issue impacting all Americans. The steering committee for Infrastructure Week includes the AFL-CIO, U.S. Chamber of Commerce, Value of Water Coalition, Building America’s Future, National Association of Manufacturers, Metropolitan Policy Program at Brookings, and American Society of Civil Engineers.

Sponsored by Common Good, the Progressive Policy Institute, and Covington & Burling LLP, the forum will focus on expediting and improving regulatory reviews of infrastructure projects.

David Gehr, senior vice president and highway market leader at WSP | Parsons Brinkerhoff, will take part in Delivering the Goods: Recommendations for Funding a Federal Freight Program, Thursday, May 19 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. at the U.S. Capitol Visitor Center - HVC-200. Sponsored by the Eno Center for Transportation, the session brings together top industry experts from all areas of freight to discuss how to develop a specific proposal for funding a multimodal freight program.
