Lauren Isaac will present her monograph, Driving Towards Driverless: A Guide for Government Agencies, which she researched and wrote as the firm’s 2015 William Barclay Parsons Fellow. Lauren will present an overview of emerging driverless technologies, and discuss how autonomous vehicles have the potential to change all aspects of mobility—from driver safety and insurance liability to car ownership and how Americans commute. Lauren will also address the government’s current role in driverless vehicles, the likely evolution of autonomous vehicles, and the myriad policy activities that must be initiated as part of the planning process.
