Christopher Peters to Lead Our Western Transportation Practice

Christopher Peters has been named a senior vice president and transportation and infrastructure business manager of the West region of WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff, a global engineering and professional services organization.

 

ORANGE, CA — Christopher Peters has been named a senior vice president and transportation and infrastructure business manager of the West region of WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff, a global engineering and professional services organization. 

In his new position, Mr. Peters, who will be based in the Orange, California office, will manage the firm’s transportation & infrastructure business in the Western U.S. In this role, he will oversee the performance of the firm’s projects and employees in the West, and will also be responsible for developing new business. 

Mr. Peters has more than 20 years of experience in the infrastructure and transportation industry, including highways, bridges and tunnels, public transit and airports. His expertise includes design delivery, construction management, project management, operations, business development and organizational leadership. Prior to joining WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff, he served as a Western U.S. division operations officer at a global infrastructure planning, design, engineering and construction management firm.

A licensed professional engineer in Missouri and Illinois, Mr. Peters earned a master’s degree in civil engineering from Iowa State University and a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
