SEATTLE, WA — Mohammed Haq is named a vice president in the Seattle office of WSP USA, formerly WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff, a leading engineering and professional services organization.

In his new position, Mr. Haq will head the mechanical engineering group for the Seattle buildings practice. His responsibilities will include client management, project development as well as the supervision and mentoring of staff.  He has over 18 years of experience providing mechanical design services for new and renovated facilities, including design of HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical piping systems for office buildings, universities, libraries, hospitals, commercial, and industrial facilities. Prior to joining WSP, he was an associate principal with a Seattle consulting firm, responsible for managing a team of 20 individuals designing mechanical systems for aviation, higher education, municipal and research facilities.

“Mohammed is the ideal candidate to lead our mechanical engineering practice in Seattle as we look to expand its footprint,” noted Tom Marseille, senior vice president and head of WSP’s Seattle buildings office. “He has an extensive track record managing complex mechanical projects, and has proven to be an effective business development and marketing manager.”
