Tim Rose to Manage Transportation Engineering in Utah

Tim Rose is a senior supervising transportation engineer in the Murray, Utah office of WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff, a global engineering and professional services organization.

 

MURRAY, UT — Tim Rose is a senior supervising transportation engineer in the Murray, Utah office of WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff, a global engineering and professional services organization.

In his new position, Mr. Rose will manage project staff in the transportation design/civil engineering group in the firm’s Murray, Utah office. He will provide technical leadership in project management, program management and design on a wide range of transportation projects involving rural and urban streets and interstate highways.

Mr. Rose joined WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff after a 28-year career with the Utah Department of Transportation, most recently serving as UDOT’s project director for the I-15 “The Point” design-build project. His experience includes project management, alternative project delivery, structural design, construction engineering, preconstruction engineering, asset management, program development and administration. As project director for the I-15 “The Point,” project Mr. Rose was responsible for overseeing a $252 million design-build project which reconstructed 7 miles of I-15 with new PCCP, added two lanes to mainline I-15, reconfigured/reconstructed the 14600 South interchange and installed all new ATMS and express lane tolling equipment.

A licensed professional engineer in Utah, Mr. Rose received a B.S. in civil engineering from the University of Utah. He is a member of the Design-Build Institute of America.
