Sustainability experts from WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff, a global engineering and professional services firm, will take part in technical sessions at the Climate Leadership Conference, March 1 – 3, 2017, at the Marriott Downtown in Chicago.

 

WASHINGTON, DC – Sustainability experts from WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff, a global engineering and professional services firm, will take part in technical sessions at the Climate Leadership Conference, March 1 – 3, 2017, at the Marriott Downtown in Chicago.

The annual Climate Leadership Conference convenes a global audience of climate, energy, and sustainability professionals to address climate change through policy, innovation, and business solutions. Now in its sixth year, the 2017 event will host the nation's climate leaders and decision-makers to further accelerate a low-carbon economy.

  • Moving Beyond Scopes 1 and 2, Wednesday, March 1st, 9:00 am – NoonJulie Sinistore, project director, Sustainability & Energy, WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff and Betty Cremmins, senior manager of Supply Chain with CDP, will address the process of engaging suppliers and conducting life cycle assessments (LCAs), two key tools for reducing GHG emissions and other environmental impacts from the full life cycle of products.

  • What Makes Infrastructure Resilient?, Wednesday, March 1st, 11:00am – 12:30pm – Michael Mondshine, vice president, Sustainability & Energy, WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff, will lead a panel discussion on how cities and businesses are taking action to strengthen the resilience of their buildings, transportation systems, energy and water services, and telecommunication systems to climate change.

  • Developing the Strategy to Tackle Your Sustainability Challenge, Thursday, March 2nd, 11:00am – 12:15pm -- Eric Christensen, practice leader, Sustainability & Energy, WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff, will lead a panel discussion on how leading organizations can set aggressive carbon neutral goals and how they can establish corporate practices and systems to achieve them.

  • Setting Aggressive GHG Goals and Making Plans to Meet Them, Thursday, March 2nd, 3:30pm – 4:30pm – Dan Sobrinski, Vice President, and Kealy Herman, Project Consultant, Sustainability & Energy, WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff, will facilitate a discussion on how organizations can set aggressive GHG goals and how they can establish and implement plans to achieve them.
