Acoustics engineer wins Lend Lease Scholarship for Future Leaders

Last night at the NAWIC NSW 2015 Awards in Excellence event in Sydney, Kezia Lloyd scooped the Lend Lease Scholarship for Future Leaders.

 

Acoustics Engineer, Kezia Lloyd, has won the Lend Lease Scholarship for Future Leaders presented by the National Association of Women In Construction (NAWIC).

The Award recognises the enthusiasm and commitment of young women in the industry, with the intention of encouraging future leaders within the sector.

Speaking from the Awards ceremony, Associate Director, Asia Pacific Acoustics Manager, Alex Campbell, praised Kezia’s passion and contribution to the specialist field of acoustics engineering.

“Kezia has managed acoustics across an extensive range of projects, from high-profile residential and commercial buildings through to transportation infrastructure and all associated environment impacts.”

He continues, “Kezia displays great ingenuity and craft as an acoustics engineer. Her drive for excellence has made her a technical leader in her field.”

“I am confident that Kezia will play a major role in the future of global acoustics. WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff invests heavily in young engineers to equip our future technical experts with the skills they will need. We are delighted to lend our full support to Kezia,’ concluded Mr Campbell.

Lloyd is also a member of the WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff Taskforce, that undertakes internal business research and marketing-based initiatives with the objective of guiding corporate change.

Lloyd was presented with her award last night at the NAWIC NSW 2015 Awards in Excellence event in Sydney. The prize includes a $4000 scholarship toward future education and leadership training.
