Four new Directors to continue growth in structures

WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff has appointed Anthony McCullough, Adam Read, Luke Taylor and Graeme Deaker as Directors in the Structures team.

 

WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff Structures Executive Chairman Kevin Winward said the new directors added new strength to the team in a period of rapid growth.

“With a number of high-profile projects in progress as well as significant business development opportunities, we rely on strong, experienced and innovative leaders.”

As the Western Australian State Manager for the Structures team, Anthony McCullough has broad responsibilities and experience.

“Anthony is experienced at working across multiple sectors on varying-sized projects including the London 2012 Olympic Stadium, New Perth Stadium and the Baldivis Shopping Centre in Western Australia,” said Kevin Winward. 

“As the Queensland State Manager for the Structures team, Adam Read brings a wealth of global experience from the United Arab Emirates, India, and Saudi Arabia. More local work includes signature projects such as the Upper West Side project, a high-rise multi tower residential development in Melbourne as well as projects across the healthcare, commercial and education sectors.

“His specialist knowledge in areas such as large-scale concrete structures was important on projects such as the Bahrain Financial Harbour and Villamar Apartments,” said Kevin Winward.

Luke Taylor has a well-established technical background in structural engineering and over 22 years’ of local and international project experience.

“He was project engineer for the County Court in the Melbourne CBD, the structural design engineer for 85 Franklin Street in Melbourne and project director for the PS1 Commercial Building in Springfield, Queensland,” said Kevin Winward.

With over 30 years’ experience, Graeme Deaker brings a wealth of local, national and international experience to the team, with  a portfolio of work that includes the Crown Plaza and Staybridge Apartments in Abu Dhabi and the Jubilee Stadium Extensions and 182 Pitt Street in New South Wales.

The new directors are based in WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff’s offices across Perth, Brisbane and Sydney.
