WAYNE BRETHERTON TO LEAD THE PROPERTY & BUILDINGS BUSINESS

WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff has appointed Wayne Bretherton to the role of Director of Property and Buildings, Australia and New Zealand (ANZ).

 

Mr Bretherton takes over from Andrew Mather, Managing Director – Property, Environment and Resources, and is responsible for growing the multidisciplinary business which includes structures, building services, specialists services, sustainability and master planning.

Andrew Mather commented that Mr Bretherton has more than 30 years in the Property sector, gained in ANZ as well as from his time with WSP in the United Kingdom. 

‘Mr Bretherton has a successful track record of delivering a diverse range of projects including the Queens Wharf Development and Centre for Children’s Health Research in Queensland, Wynyard Station Upgrade and University of Sydney School of Business in New South Wales, several commercial developments in Victoria and the Park Hyatt in New Zealand, among others,’ said Mr Mather.

Drawing from his experience in London, Singapore, Abu Dhabi and Doha, Mr Bretherton will also work closely with the broader business to strengthen the company’s Development offering for clients.

Mr Bretherton has worked with several leading developers, architects, contractors and Government agencies. He is a Chartered Engineer and an Adjunct Teaching Fellow at the Faculty of Society and Design at Bond University.
