WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff in the UK wins Consultancy of the Year at Building Awards

WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff fought off stiff competition from a number of competitors to win the highly coveted award. The award submission focussed on why 2014 was a stellar year for the company, which remained a profitable, motivated and sustainable business positioned to take immediate advantage of the economic upturn, and the creation of WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff as a significant force in the built environment.

Executive Director Paul Tremble said: “I’m delighted that we won this award which reflects our great work over the past year. This sort of publicity and recognition highlights our very strong position in the market place, as we go forward as WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff. Our focus on implementing a measured client management approach, retaining a high percentage of our talented workforce, and our work on a number of high profile projects, have been integral to winning this award.”

The awards, which are in their 21st year, are widely recognised as one of the sector’s most prestigious awards for excellence. Awards organiser Building Magazine has been a highly regarded voice of the construction industry for 170 years. They recently interviewed Mark Naysmith, UK COO and MD for property, infrastructure and transportation, on the future of the newly combined business.

Paul Tremble, along with Director of Building Structures Jane Richards, Head of Building Services Philippe Honnorat, Head of Building Structures Kamran Moazami and UK Director of Marketing and Communications Emma Wyatt, were at the awards dinner and collected the award.
