Speaking after the award ceremony on May 1, Andrew Mather, Managing Director, Property, Environment & Resources and Vice President, Asia Pacific, commented: “Every award received is gratifying but this award in particular recognises our firm’s sustainability focus and technical consulting expertise across the built environment in support of our clients, partners and stakeholders.”

The VenuesWest arena, aside from being a striking sports and entertainment venue, was a highly complex and technically challenging project.  Achieving best practice sustainability outcomes was a key part of the brief with early stakeholder engagement playing a significant role in securing these outcomes.

The Property Council of Australia’s Innovation and Excellence Awards showcase the Australian property industry and celebrate leading practice in Australia’s property development and investment industries.
