WSP wins 2014 Deal Team of the Year award

Canadian Dealmakers has announced WSP as recipient of the 2014 Deal Team of the Year award.

Presented to a Canadian-headquartered company that has demonstrated overall excellence in deal making, the award was accepted by Alexandre L’Heureux, Chief Financial Officer, at the annual gala awards dinner in Toronto on March 5. This is a first time honour for WSP. Canadian Dealmakers is Canada’s premier deal-making awards program recognizing Canadian companies and individuals who have made significant contributions to the M&A market.

Now in its eighth year, the Canadian Dealmakers awards program is jointly run by Deloitte, Lexpert®, The Globe and Mail and Thomson Reuters, and honours dealmakers in several categories who have impacted their industry and strategically positioned their business for innovation, growth, global competitiveness and diversification. In order to qualify as a Canadian Dealmaker, applicants must be a Canadian headquartered corporation or fund, and have a publicly disclosed transaction that closed within the 2014 calendar year or been announced in 2013 or 2014 and have a high probability of closing in 2015 prior to the gala awards ceremony.
